The KD VI Men's Basketball Shoe was built with a new responsive Nike zoom unit, a more supportive upper and a lower cut silhouette for better flex through the ankle resulting in Kevin Durant lightest shoe to date.The collar of the KD VI is lower than that of its predecessor that allows  more flexibility through the ankle. With layers of rubber stripped away in some areas to maintain the shoe's light weight,  a multi directional outsole pattern offers excellent traction and durability for total control. The KD VI has visible Max Air in the heel for maximum impact protection on hard landings and a Nike Zoom unit in the forefoot for lightweight, low-profile responsivenes  and a phylon midsole that  provides exceptional cushioning.

The KD VI Men's Basketball Shoe  has a two layer upper is ultra thin and features flywire technology super light and super strong nylon cables that support the foot by encasing it in a secure hug. The flywire technology helps provides a ultra lightweight support and comfort , It gets its strength from the thin nylon fibers that strategically placed on the upper of the shoe to hold the foot in place and helps to reduce slippage during activity. The high wrapped rubber at the outsole adds up stability and support during quick cuts. This allows for a massive reduction in weight because material is used where it is needed for structure.
