Kobe Bryant Signature Shoes

NIKE, Inc. and 10-time NBA All-Star Kobe Bryant unveiled the Nike Zoom Kobe IV , its lightest basketball shoe ever, with a new low cut design weighing in at a mere 11.6 ounces.

In order to create an extremely light shoe that allows Kobe to make cuts on a dime while providing stability and comfort, Avar built on the design innovation of the Nike Hyperdunk, using Flywire, a performance architecture that uses thin and very strong nylon fibers to support the foot, in the upper. He added LunarLite foam in the forefoot, the most innovative cushioning system since Nike Air, which returns energy upon every step rather than absorbing energy. He also added a Nike Zoom unit in the heel, and a full-length Phylon midsole.

Nike Zoom Kobe IV Features:

* Flywire upper, external heel counter and molded collar work together to provide maximum support and stability by keeping the foot from sliding on the footbed during cuts.
* LunarLite foam and Flywire take out weight and add strength, so you’re locked in and free to fly.
* Mesh Dynamic Fit inner sleeve adds secure fit and provides breathable comfort on the court.
* Synthetic-leather overlays in a snake skin print add durability and unique design detail.
* Heel crash pad offers smooth step-in and toe-off.
* Zoom Air unit in the heel, LunarLite foam in the forefoot and a rigidity plate in the midfoot provide support and cushion exactly where you need it.
* Flex grooves aid natural foot movement.
* An outrigger gives lateral support.
* Injected TPU external heel counter features Kobe’s signature

Nike Zoom Kobe IV
Nike Zoom Kobe IV - these are Kobe Bryant fourth official signature shoes made for him by Nike and released in January 2009. Note that the Hyperdunks worn by Kobe in the 2008 Olympics were not his fourth signature shoes but sneakers made and personalized for most of Nike's basketball players at Beijing.

Nike Zoom Kobe IV “Mamba”

Nike Zoom Kobe IV Mamba - It was exactly a month ago that Kobe debuted the Nike Zoom Kobe IV on court in Miami in a disappointing 2-point loss to the Heat. In total four colorways of the Kobe IV have made it onto the court including the Venom, Christmas, Home, and Carpe Diem, but tonight, Kobe will bring out the “Mamba” colorway. Kobe earned the nickname the “black mamba” so one would tend to associate the snake with a black colorup, but Kobe opted to represent the venomous serpent with gold scales around the ankle of the revolutionary low cut, 11.6 ounce sneaker. Nike Zoom Kobe IV “Carpe Diem”

Nike Zoom Kobe IV "Carpe Diem" - Kobe Bryant and Nike have created a new standard for basketball shoes with the Nike Zoom Kobe 4. Extremely lightweight and a price that is more like the price of a premium basketball shoe in the early nineties, over $60 cheaper than another signature shoe we know and love, make this undeniably one of the best shoes in the game right now. The Nike Zoom Kobe IV “Carpe Diem” colorway is arguably the best so far, with the snakeskin toebox and the Carpe Diem emblem on the tongue. Ont top of the technology packed into these kicks, in the form of Flywire
and Zoom Air, the black and yellow with just a hint of purple really makes these kicks hard to pass up, even if you’re not a Laker fan.

The Nike Hyperdunk
Nike Inc. kicked off the launch of the Hyperdunk with various ads to promote their new sneaker and included the controversial “That Aint Right” poster. The ad was ultimately taken down due to its supposed explicit content and has resurfaced in the form of a trio of Hyperdunks. The “That Aint Right Pack” is made up of the Hyperdunk available in black/university blue/white, white/varsity red/black, white/midnight navy with each model sporting the slogan on the icy sole

The Nike Hyperdunk

The Nike Hyperdunk - Quite simply, the revolutionary Hyperdunk delivers all the support you need on the court with the least amount of weight. Jump higher. Cut sharper. React faster. Be more explosive. The Hyperdunk represents the future. The Hyperdunk is the future of basketball footwear. Constructed using Nike’s 'Fly Wire" technology, Vectran fibers, which are five times stronger than steel and never lose their strength, are encased in the skim to harness the body of the shoe. These thin wires act as supports on a suspension bridge, providing the necessary support structure while eliminating excess weight above the sole. The sole is constructed with Lunar Foam, a material developed by NASA that gives the shoe excellent shock absorption and a great feel with minimal weight. With a breathable mesh tongue and a protective heel cup your safety and comfort is assured during your long flights. The Hyperdunk combines two new Nike innovations: Flywire technology and Lunarlite foam.

THe Nike Hyperdunk Features:

* Flywire technology redefines footwear construction, shaving off weight and adding strength, allowing athletes to be lighter on their feet and faster on the track and on the court.
* Lunarlite foam features a unique cell structure making it lightweight and ultra responsive as a cushioning system.
* At only 13.0 ounces, the Nike Hyperdunk is 18 percent lighter than the average Nike basketball shoe
